Unseemly behaviour

People with responsible jobs, such as priests in the Church of England, should have no part in scouring through blogs they disagree with, in order to find comments to discredit others.

I hope we would all agree that such people are certainly not fit to hold such a post.

And that such activity says ia lot about their claim to 'morality'

Perhaps you'd like to name publicly the person you're thinking of and give us the specifics? Remember though that there are defamation laws in this country...

Perhaps people who do such things would like to explain why, and justify their actions, rather than post anonymously on blogs which they have no sympathy with.

Of course, the comment refers to anyone who behaves in such a way, because I'm sure its something no-one would be brave enough to admit to.

and whilst we are thinking of such things, I note that you commented without registering with no means of me being able to ascertain who you are.

So, any further anonymous comments will not be published.

If you don't like what this blog has to say, then don't visit it.

Mike--

You are a good, good man, and I am glad to know you. But, I made a mistake in thinking that I had to hide.

I am entitled to my opinions, and whether ordained people use others to report back to them or do their own snooping, they aren't worth the heartache I've allowed them to cause.

As far as Interested Party says, he is right. There are defamation laws, but I think that it is important to remember that some people...by the very fact that they are good people...operate in an open, honest manner. Others don't.

Ordination vows are no guarantee that the person is open or honest in dealing with those with whom they disagree.

So...I am going to post as I see fit, and as I hope you'll allow.

Thank you, though. Really. That you stood with me reminds me that I must also stand with you.
